Aha! A very heart touching story. Everyone got what they deserved. Asika was free at last and the unjust king and the false accusers became sick with leprosy. Gods were not dead, they were sleeping. They woke up and did justice with the innocent man.
Poetic justice was depicted in the story. Would that gods were real! Would that this world be a nice place where innocents are protected by gods and perpetrators and wicked person meet there true fate. Unfortunately this will never happen in this world. Innocents are in jails or face immense hardships while unscrupulous people laugh at them. This is the reality of this world. It there had been any God or gods, will they not protect the innocent little girls from the rapists? Won't they have come to rescue innocent civilians from the slave soldiers?
Unfortunately, this world is a creation of some evil design. This world is hopeless because man is the cruelest, unjust, wickedest and the most opportunist animal in this world. Man cries for justice if anything is against him but became tyrant when he gets power.
