LOL. I had no social media experience but now I’m addicted to Steemit. I mostly enter photos in the various contests but can’t help checking every few minutes to see if I have votes or comments. My wife is not too happy about it.
My husband was on steemit before me. Tell her, If you can't beat them join them. I joined him and now my account is worth a tiny bit more than his, and he is the one to tell me to put my phone down for five minutes. We have a bit of steemit rivalry. If my posts do better than his he is motivated to create something to outdo me. We have a codependant addiction, our kids are into it too. Our daughter just bought her first cryptokitty and is breeding imaginary cats with her dad, who doesn't even like cats.
You think you know someone. Of all the magical things that happen on steemit, him becoming obsessed with cyber cats was not on my radar of possibilities.
Ha ha. My wife has a Steemit account but doesn’t do much. Whenever I see her on Facebook, I always ask “how much will you make for that ‘like’?” At least she gives me an occasional upvote. ;-)
I had quitted facebook for quite some time. After I found steemit, I feel reborn and cannot help being addictive since then.
Yeah i understand, both hope she's getting some of the bucks you're making. That should reduce some of the bad feeling.
