Cardano (ADA) Developer IOHK Announces Major Partnership in Tanzania

#Cardano ( #ADA) #developer #IOHK announced a major partnership with blockchain-powered World Mobile.

As part of the deal, the two companies will set up a new mobile network in #Tanzania, an #African country where a large portion of the population cannot benefit from a fixed internet connection. The goal will be to provide 100,000 people with access to 5G.

Although the expansion of ordinary mobile providers into remote regions does not have an economic benefit, World Mobile aims to make this possible with the sharing economy system. While businesses collect rewards with #WMT #tokens, they will be able to run nodes to keep their regions tied.

IOHK will work on the implementation of blockchain-powered identities using #Atala #PRISM #decentralized #identity #solution.

↪️IOHK Continues to Build Partnership
IOHK managed to reach an agreement with the Ethiopian Ministry of Education earlier this week. Nearly five million students will be able to take advantage of the blockchain -based identity system that will make it easier to record and track their grades .

In addition, artificial intelligence firm #SingularityNet will collaborate with IOHK to establish a laboratory in Ethiopia that will focus on developing projects in areas such as artificial intelligence and robotics.
