A great day out
If you are looking for cheap and cheerful day out to take the kids, then get yourselves down to Southport pier!
Just up the road from the pier is a beautiful little lake where you can hire boats for £10.
When the weather is nice then this is a great thing to do with kids as they will love it!
The water isnt very deep so no need for life jackets, the boats aren't very fast so you are perfectly safe and so is your bank balance.
