freedomshift delegated 300 SP to all hosts of contests but is in need of SP so is @team-ccc. It mainly has a vote because he delegated 700 SP.
So his question is how to earn/get SP. I asked if it benefits to delegate SP if we could delegate back plus I think the team account needs to be more active and ask for SP which will be hard since it mainly works with people with low SP. Any suggestions?

Hmm.. he can redelegate the 300SPs back to team-ccc actually. Or half. Or however much he prefers.
Yah, our members mostly have low SPs, one reason why they join our contests. Asking SPs from them will defeat the purpose when ccc is meant to help them. But we can also do like the council. Whoever is able, can delegate even as little as 5 SP to team-ccc if they want to, to contribute to the pool since the account is meant for the members.
I think what you are doing now with the list of contests posts and what is ccc and curating by upvoting others is helping to earn SPs for team-ccc. Slowly but surely 👍🏻💪🏻
Freedomshift is no longer active here either. Previously he would at least upvote and comment a little in our posts. And you are right, team-ccc needs to be active here to earn. I haven’t check, do you have authority to transfer the STEEM earned to SPs for the team-ccc account? And also in Steem-Engine, we can stake whatever palnet, neoxian, etc tokens to earn more whenever the account upvotes others.

If @team-ccc is more active, posting more it benefits us all to curate the posts and we could for example delegate our 300/back or only 150 of it.
Since I will upvote the posts of ccc members now daily and leave a comment (a way to promote the team) we both can upvote less. I did 100% before but will go back to 80% I think if it comes to my own contests. With the upvote given by the team the members always earn more.
At this moment the team only posts twice a week.
The contest "What do the letters CCC mean to you" could be hosted by the team.
The team can do the contest + announcement of the winners. This way it already has 4 posts a week and is more interesting.
I can still host one contest or start another one. For example something like: write me a story about... (In 200 words).
Felixgarciap runs a poetry contest. The thing is we ask 200 words but it would be good if we can make an exception for it and he could do it under the ccc flag.
If we are more known we could ask for 5 or 10 SP but therefore the team has to be more active if it comes to posting etc if I understood marionette well. If that is the case delegating SP brings something.
Something else I want to discuss is the SBI...will we continue with it till the moment it (might) stop?
Or can we give Steem, perhaps reward with CAT (the more CAT the more you see one of the 3 kitten bots sweep your dust).

Yah... I know of the 200 words from freedomshift to keep it consistent and of quality. Have you spoken to him lately? Maybe we can relook at the "rules". I like the variety of photo contest (olivia08's) and poetry contest. Maybe for these, we can make it to 100 words perhaps for photos and poetry? Some people say that 100 words can be counted as "quality" although some just give a photo and thats it.
Have you heard about SBI stopping? We have invested so much in SBI already and I hope they don't die. I am ok with giving out Steem if SBI is stopping. But it won't be fair to everyone if SBI stops because we have sent so much Steem to SBI. I like SBI because the benefit is inclusive of us as host and the winners. Or we can ask the members which they prefer? SBI or Steem. If majority says they prefer Steem, probably we can arrange that. Have you asked freedomshift about it? We can reward the other tokens too like PAL, CreativeCoin, in your case CAT? I don't have postings on cats though but it is an idea.
It is not SBI that wants to stop but the high top that wants it to end. I noticed I never receive Steem dollar since the last HFs. It is the same with the bid bots they fight now. I read a post of last week felt.buzz mentioned it. I am not part of the top and think it is better not to interfere in the fights about money and downvotes. It does not make this platform a better place.
I leave freedomshift a message via Discord and he responds on it. I read it on Thursdays. It is up to us too I think but
I don't think we can ask everyone to host a contest and let freedomshift pay the prizes. That is not fair. We have to pay it ourselves. If the ccc contest is ran by team-ccc I will pay the prizes from the amount left freedomshift gave me. I don't know if he is able to do it since he only shows up once a week and is busy. The other contest I pay from my earnings so I need to earn more to start a second one. It costs me about 10-18 steem a week since the prize is not the same each week.
I will use the commentcoin tag for it so that is an extra bonus and from now on it will be one winner out of all entries plus I will choose the best entry. Quality and time invested should be rewarded too.
A ohotocontest like olivia08 has are there more as you can imagine. Have you seen derangedcontests? I do not agree with just leaving a picture. There should be made a post out of it. With 3 photos you need less text. That is not too much asked. It might be easy for her to check a photo this way but there is nothing to earn. No one will watch a single photo and upvote it if it is a comment. It is the same with derangedcontests. They all come for a quick post and leave. Only some make a post out of it.
Poetry is a different story.
I think you can hit the 100 or 200 words by adding text about yourself, which poetry your like or...using 3 photos (and add some info about the camera). That is what I did with my post "Food for the soul" a microfiction/zapfic max 240 characters.
CAT can be an option (the more CAT the bigger chance the kittenbots come) but also Commentcoin can. This coin can also be transferred and be given as a prize. If you make a habit of following that tag it pays itself back. No need to buy them unless you never comment.

Hmm if really SBI goes away, that would be very sad. Yah, do not get involved with the politics here. It is disheartening to read all the anger in comments. I am here to share and to give back where I can. I want to be happy here.
Yup, yup, I agree that we shouldn't expect freedomshift to sponsor the prizes. I have told myself that if he stops sponsoring, I will still continue the contest for as long as there is participants. If he sponsors, I will take it and plan for the weeks, mainly for the main prizes and for the member bonuses and my bonus, I am using my weekly earnings to plan for it. Most weeks, my earnings alone are not enough to cover but I try to join other contests to hopefully earn a little more to cover for the costs. One of the reasons why I do not give out much at one go is to be able to continue to give prizes for the subsequent weeks in case the week doesn't earn much.
Yup, I also agree that photos should include some write-up and not just post the photo. I am always puzzled how those who posts just a photo can get rewarded so much. I can understand that the photo they post are really nice and professionally taken but I would prefer some write-up. I think olivia08's photo contest can include write-ups. There is so much that can be written about a photo. Hehe, I have been thinking to join the ZapFic but haven't gotten to it :D
Thank you very much for the CAT and CommentCoin information. One of my fellow needleworkmonday members is also promoting CommentCoin. I haven't collected any yet but hopefully soon :D
