Actifit Walk: February 5 2019

This cattle water tank was my first Actifit walkin' destination. Actually, went past before I doubled back ta camp.

Let me tell you what: Since Vanholio's been on the road, he's seen more solar and wind power in the hinterlands a Trump country than in the Democrat cities.

Folks out there might be skeptical a man-made Climate Change, but they sure believe in not payin' a damn utility bill. 'Specially when it'll cost thousands ta run a line out!

This tank is out on federal BLM land near Deming, NM. If ya don't know, BLM land is free ta hike and camp on for anyone, but the feds rent out grazin' rights ta ranchers, who maintain their stocks, water tanks, and so forth on their parcels.

Here's my camp, down by a southern lump a the Cookes Range and by a wash. The Florida Mountains and Deming (not shown) is ta my South.
