RE: My Actifit Report Card: March 6 2019
the disc curved too much leaving me a long putt for par and I ended with a bogey.
Ok, this is the sort of english technical stuff I've never heard before, what is a putt for par and a bogey? It sounds a lot like Irish to me xD
I've never played that much with a flying disc, never knew what to play... what sort of games are there to play with a disc?
Well, disc golf plays very much like regular golf but maybe I'm using the terms incorrectly - I'm pretty new at it and never played regular golf. A bogey is a score one stroke over par which is usually three throws to get to the basket.
By curving too much I meant that the disc rolled initially towards the right direction but leaned over when rolling and curved around away from the basket. You have to play from where it stops and it stopped farther from the basket than I can usually make the throw with a putter. (There are three major types of discs, putters, drivers and mid range discs) I hope the explains a bit better, sorry about all the terms.
Ok, now I got it :D I'm not very much into golf, most of the terms are unknown to me, thanks for explaining!
