I think in the US, the cleaning lady or her company would have been sued. Here we all were laughing, including the injured colleagues, and the cleaner was instructed to leave some dirt at eye level 😉 lol
I do hope, that this mentality does not swap over to Europe or Austria.
It's always a funny to read, that somebody sued a restaurant, because they served a soup without a warning, that it's hot ;) lol

Like the person who sued a vehicle company because they put their motor home in cruise mode and for out of the drivers seat went back to make a coffee and it crashed at the next corner
They did what? I haven't heard of that - that's just crazy and stupid, and many people win such a lawsuit.

The ting is no one reads a manual well not me but I am sure if we did for anything yes even a spoon it would have some cray notes in it lOL
Hold it the wrong way and try to eat your soup. A spoon definitely needs a manual :) lol
