My Actifit Report Card: October 15 2019 By the water
By the water
As I was on the train this morning I was wishing I was heading to the beach and not the city, I mean walking around the city can be interesting but walking by the beach and water is more refreshing for me, so I decided for today to focus on shots with water for this evenings post.
A good day for activity got well over my personal 7.5 K step goal, Well double that today it was to nice a day to sit at my desk all day :) the sun was shining and managed to sneak out for a couple of walks with my camera between meetings and work so all in all a good day
Starting as usual with a couple of shots from a previous walk these shots are taken on Roosevelt Island looking across at Manhattan, ( the Iphone shots from today are from Midtown Manhattan) this first shot shows a few of the buildings in Manhattan.

And a second shot from another point showing the layers of the city, in this shot the tall black building is the Trump World Tower, with the ChryslerTower building behind it, and also as in just about any view of the Manhattan Skyline you can see cranes constructing new buildings.

Shots taken on today's walks with my iPhone Zooming in a little bit more,
I decided to swing by Central Park this morning to see if they fall colors were out yet, Heading First to the entrance by 59th Street and 5th Avenue and walked in by the pond for the first couple of shots

As you can see the colors weren’t out that much at all if they had been I would have walked through the park and the theme of this post would have been quite different, BUt I did take another shot of the pond with some reflections.

Shots taken on this mornings walk from Central Park to 1ST avenue and 46th Street
As the colors weren’t out I decided instead to walk in a round about way to my office and look for water related shots on the way, such as this little waterfall beside a building

And this next shots is debatable whether it is water related but i am sure the machine that was cleaning the sidewalk outside a building with this foam makes use of water, besides I just thought it looked a mix of weird and cool.
I see often people washing down the sidewalk beside the building with a hose, but its not often i see this

And here is a fountain in a little park I walked past

And not far from my office is this little fountain outside an office/residential building

I walked by this park and waterfall before work but the gates were all closed so I swung by it again later in the day as I wanted ot include a shot of it wit this post, it is on 51st Street between 2nd and Third Ave

Very nice. The autumm sky looks so sharp with vivid hues. I'd be a bit nervous about stepping on that soapy sidewalk though! It looks slippy!
I walked around the suds as well I am sure it must have been so slippery
have a great day
Nice @tattooedjay
All good shots, I really liked the reflection shots and the city shots from the island.
I was trying for reflection shots this week as well but the wind had other ideas lol.
Be neat to see the city shots at night O.o maybe some slow shutter tracers thrown in.
I am seldom in the city at night with my commute I get out before the sun is even close to setting, but U am thinking of heading in extra early to get the same kind of shots one day

Ah, you really do take this water thing to another level - and you get those steps in too!
Such envious shots of the fountains and reflections and someone looked like he was having too much fun with Mr. Bubble and the scrubber. This was a fun post and I hope to see more of your perusing of the city!'
