It must have been very difficult 6 kids and your Mom, it sounds like your family found strength together.....
I don't want to see Steem drop in price, BTC is the driving factor here ,and BTC will bounce back.
I have learned that most times things are not what they seem.....Just saying Not financial advice....

You're my good friend, we're not financial experts. Lol.
For some reasons when BTC bounces back Steem is in the moment were we seem to be going through some not so great news so other coins bounce with BTC but it's like we remain where we are and then when we have such great news it is like we're in isolation. Lol. The news is not strong enough to pull us to the max. Timing matters a lot.
I have noticed this too, BTC drops ...Steem drops.
BTC rallies....Steem stays down....
These are trying times here on Steem, but I still think with Dapps like @actifit we are just at the beginning.
I also am just watching to see how Steem-Engine plays out, many of these tokens will die out but a few will grow. If or when Steem-Engine connects to other major crypto, and possibly other blockchains this might be a game changer.
We might see Steem eventually used similar to "gas" with ETH........I am also watching to see if we end up with a connection to EOS.......Just thinking out loud
