A nice cool morning, perfect for a road trip to town to pick up our new mini deep freeze from Costco warehouse!
I just didn’t expect to see a snow plow LOL!!😄
40+ miles round-trip through downtown traffic!
When I opened up the box at home I saw this..... take a look at the fourth photo, it’s smashed right around the thermostat!
Well this is disheartening, this was smashed before it was painted and the box was not damaged!
So I re-packaged up the freezer, reloaded it onto my truck, and back to town for another 40+ mile round-trip!
Ohh.... by the time I got to Costco every single freezer has been sold!😳
When the Mrs got home she started searching for freezers, and everyone is buying these. They are either sold out or high-priced including online.
We found a local store that has 10 in stock at an average price, so tomorrow Silvertop will meet the Mrs at her work, at quitting time. We will quickly drive to town...again Lol!🤣
We were burning daylight, and out the door we went for our Mountain Hike.....
Hiking can put troubles in perspective, I needed this hike!
54 uphill floors in the cool air, I’m calling this a day!!
