Happy Tuesday and a very warm welcome to my report. As always thank you for stopping by and please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my day went. I also wanna share a bit on some of the trending stories that caught my eye 👀. So let's get cracking💨.
Today I continued exploring the neighborhood around south London.
No walk this morning as we woke up to some slight drizzle and a cold 🥶 cloudy morning.
However, the afternoon got a little warmer with sporadic bursts of sunshine here and there.
Let's hope for some nice sunny 🌞 days ahead.
In the media streets, Gaza trending as heavy fighting reported between Hamas and Israeli soldier in Jabaliya refugee camp im the north.
In central Gaza, Israeli airstrikes have caused death of at least 40 Palestinians😿.
In Rafa, displacement of more than 550K Palestinians is taking place🙀. People fleeing as Hamas and Israel army go head to head.
In the other war, president Zelensky has welcomed US secretary of state, Anthony Blinken to Kyiv as Russia hits north east of Ukraine close to Kharkiv.
Anthony Blinken promised that more aid was on the brink of arrival into Ukraine.
Also trending, crazy protests in Tbilisi Georgia as parliament passed the 'foreign agents bill,' There were fights inside parliament as MPs pushed and pulled🙀.
Outside parliament, police had to use teargas and force to disperse angry protesters.
Still in Europe, gunmen have killed two guards and freed inmate in a prison van attack in France🙀. The high profile inmate is still on the run. Let's wait and see how swift French police will arrest and bring to book all criminals involved.
Across the pond in the US. president Biden has announced new higher taxes on Chinese products🙀, especially electric vehicles. This aimed to protect local industries/ manufacturers against cheap Chinese imports.
US says that Chinese automakers have unfair advantage because of heavy state subsidies.
Let's wait to see China's reaction to this action😹.
