My Actifit Report Card: June 7 2023....Wednesday Walk ๐ฃ๐จ๐๐๐๐ฏ๐๐๐ผ๐๐ด๐คโโ ๐ผ๐ถ๐โจ๐
Hello everyone ๐,
Happy hump day ๐๐ and a very warm welcome to my world ๐. Its yet another 24 hours to be grateful for ๐ฏ, the first week of June is now gone. I have had a great day and as it draws to a close am raring to go with my stepping activities and also share what's trending in the media streets. As always thank you for reading and let's take it away ๐จ.
I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. It was a cloudy morning as I made my way. Anyways, I did enjoy my walk and was back indoors an hour later. I then rested for a while, caught up with emails, watched the news and then the usual chores around the house.
My next stepping came later in the afternoon going to the mall for some groceries. It had turned into a beautiful sunny day as I made my way. It was nap time when I got back indoors, I woke up some time early evening and got on with the cooking, watching a little bit of news and youtube.
Next came the evening or sunset walk, it looked like it would rain but it didn't and I made it back home safe and sound. Now let's quickly look at what has been trending in the news today.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going๐น. otherwise a quiet day.
On the continent, heavy fighting between the army and RSF in Khartoum continued. A large fire reported at a fuel depot๐.
Globally Ukraine trending, both Ukraine and Russia blaming each other for the blast at the Kherson dam. Many people in the region spent the night on trees and roof tops waiting to be rescued๐. Many people will also be left without water in further regions.
Still in Europe, prince Harry appeared for a second day at London high court in mirror newspaper hacking case.
Then in Italy, the Pope successful underwent an abdominal surgery and will be staying in hospital for about a week as he recovers.
Across the pond in the US, the Canadian wildfires are blowing south into the US, triggering air quality alerts๐.
Finally, more crazy weather in Hawaii as a volcano erupted spewing ash and hot lava. Then an extended heatwave in Bangladesh has caused schools to be shut for the next few days๐.
