Happy Thursday 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Thursday is the sexy cousin of Friday😹, anyways I have had a great day and as the midnight hour beckons it's time to fill you in on how my day went including the trending stories from around the world 🌍.
Definitely thank you for reading and let's dive right in with how my day began.
So I had a good morning walk around the neighborhood. Today's walk was a bit longer almost one and a half hours🎊. Its been long since I had an extended morning walk.
I think the beautiful sunshine 🌞 motivated me to keep going. Then I was back indoors handling the usual house chores including cooking and laundry.
Later I settled down to some you tube, x and some of the trending stories.
Its been sunny 🌞 throughout the day even as I set out for the slow paced sunset 🌄 walk.
I had a nice walk again around the neighborhood, then did some grocery shopping before heading back home.
So that was my day and next let's look at what trended globally.
In the UK, the new PM, Keir Starmer, hosted European leaders in the 4th summit of EPC. His aim to strengthen ties with the rest of the continent.
Keir has pledged £84 million to stop illegal immigration at its source in Africa and middle east.
Speaking of middle east, Gaza trending as Israeli airstrikes kept going with deaths reported😿.
Israeli PM Netanyahu made an announced visit to southern city of Rafa to encourage soldiers as they keep fighting Hamas.
Meanwhile, in Israel, far right minister, Ben-Gvir made a defiant inflammatory visit at Al Aqsa mosque🙀. A provocative move that could threaten ceasefire talks.
Across the pond in the US , pressure is mounting on Biden to drop out of the presidential election🙀.
Meanwhile he is self isolating at home in Delaware after a positive covid diagnosis.
So will he yield to pressure and let Kamala Harris replace him,does she stand a chance against Trump, only time will tell😹.
Still in the US, Trump trending as he is set to deliver final speech at the last day of RNC in Milwaukee. This after that failed assassination attempt.
Trump is also expected to speak at the bitcoin conference next week, everyone curious at what he will say about crypto but he has earlier stated he wants US to be the leader in crypto space. Sounds pretty bullish as the FOMO builds up😹.
Finally, in crazy weather, Balkan countries are struggling with high temperatures🌞😿. There are wild fires 🔥 reported in north Macedonia, Serbian firefighters have been helping to put out some of the fires. All's well that ends well 💯, am sure everything will be alright.
