My Actifit Report Card: April 9 2024.... Terrific Tuesday 👣💨🍃🙌👏💯🙏😇👼💞😴💤☕⛅🎼🎶👌✨🌠

Hello Everyone,

Happy Tuesday🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another wonderful and active day stepping it out. As always thank you for being here and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including some of the trending stories. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores.
Later in the afternoon I stopped by the mall for a couple of errands before heading back home.
I later had my usual nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going, otherwise a quiet day. Some flooding reported in the north eastern parts of the country.
On the continent south Africa trending as a court ruled that Jacob Zuma can run in the elections next month. The electoral commission had said he couldn't😹.
Globally, Gaza still trending as Palestinians are about to spend Eid amidst destruction, death and hunger😿.
Gaza health officials say at least 153 bodies have been received by hospitals in 24 hours. Most have been retrieved from rubble after Israel withdrew it's troops🙀.
Meanwhile, Israel is still planning a ground offensive in Rafa to completely eliminate Hamas. PM Netanyahu said no force will stop him from that🙀.
He has been repeatedly warned of high civilian death rates if ground invasion occurs.
In Europe, Germany trending as it defended itself before the ICJ. Nicaragua had accused Germany of selling arms to Israel used to kill Palestinians, records showing a significant increase in weapons exports to Israel🙀.
However, Germany has rejected allegations of aiding genocide in Gaza, calling the accusations, baseless, rushed and without jurisdiction.
Also trending, Turkey is set to impose restrictions on exports to Israel until it reaches ceasefire with Hamas🙀. Turkish measures are to affect 54 categories of goods including, iron, steel, marble and jet fuel.
Still in Europe, a group of older Swiss women have won the first ever climate case victory in the European court of human rights. Congratulations 🎊 to them 🎉.
Across the pond, top diplomats of US and UK held talks in Washington discussing Israel's war on Gaza. Blinken and Cameron discussed delivery of aid into Gaza and other regional developments.
Finally, in crazy weather, parts of Russia have declared state of emergency after the worst flooding in decades🙀. Thousands of people have been evacuated from their homes. All's well that ends well, everything will be alright💯.
