Hello everyone 👋,

Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I am definitely grateful for this day💯, the very last one of April. So it's been another wonderful day and it's about that time to slow down, get ready for bed 💤. Before that let's quickly take a look at how my stepping went and also what's trending in the media streets. As always thank you for reading and let's begin 💨.
So just like yesterday, I started the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 around the neighborhood 🌲. A nice session and then I was back indoors for some resting and the usual house chores. It's been sunny 🌞 and cloudy at different times of the day.
I later had my usual afternoon nap and then woke up to some cooking and news. Next it was time for the sunset walk, that went well and I made it back home safe and sound. To finish off let's quickly look at the trending stories of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Evacuations continued in the flooded areas as people were resettled to other places.
On the continent, Zimbabwe trending as the govt has now issued a new gold backed currency😹. The previous currency was overrun by inflation, the final fate of all fiat.
Globally, I didn't hear of any bombing in Gaza today. However PM Netanyahu has vowed to follow through with Rafa ground attack🙀. He says the military must go into Gaza with or without a truce.
Meanwhile, protesters gathered in Tel Aviv, demanding immediate return of captives held in Gaza.
Also trending, US secretary of state Anthony Blinken, arrived in Israel on his diplomatic tour seeking a ceasefire in Gaza.
Let's go to Europe, in the Netherlands, the ICC is investigating possible war crimes committed by Hamas and Israeli military. This following the hundreds of bodies found in mass graves in Gaza🙀.
A case against Germany by Nicaragua was rejected.
In the UK, King Charles returned to royal duties, he has been on a break due to a cancer diagnosis. Today he was out with queen Camila meeting and encouraging cancer patients.
Across the pond in the US, student pro Palestinian protests are not slowing down. They are growing in a number of states🙀.
Arrests have been made across many universities. In Columbia university students have defied an ultimatum to leave their encampments or face expulsion.
Finally, in crazy weather, a volcano 🌋 in Indonesia has erupted. The mount Ruang volcano is well known for spewing rocks and ash clouds. Therefore evacuation orders have been issued by authorities.
