RE: My Actifit Report Card: November 20 2019 A telecommute day and not too much walking or not much of interest, but...

Catch the whale by it's throat JJ, shake it and see what falls out! Even the UN must have a marketing and an advertising department? Or a promotions department that are connected to many big companies that need photos for their annual reports?
Blessings!

I will give it some thought but for now, I am thinking slope out quietly and forget the place, next Tuesday Iw ill have worked them for 30 years thats more than enough time dealing witht he UN LOL

30 years is a lifetime my friend and I cannot blame you for wanting to shelve them permanently. Longest I have ever stayed in one job is 5 something years. Past 25 years on my own and intend to stay thus until I am gone.
Blessings!

I have only work for 3 Companies, one for a year after school, the army for 12 and now this one, :)

Wow! I have stopped counting for how many companies I have worked.
Before the army, I worked for 1 year at Olivetti as a technician. After the army I became a construction carpenter and at age 20 became a foreman. Then many construction companies followed until the slump in 1975!
Then I became a fast speed packaging technician at a big cigarette company, then a maintenance manager at Royal, in between I started my own company solving client problems for a big roofing company, then I became a partner in a time-share company and finally stepped away from it all about 20 years ago. Since then until today I am a missionary running a charity.
I am sure that I have missed some occupations here, but they are all in my CV. This is just a nut-shell view!
Blessings!

WOW you sure had some variety, even though I have worked for 30 years for this company I have worked in many locations and many positions so it has had some variety

Oh yeah, that could certainly make it bearable JJ.
They should be worried about losing a man of your experience.
Most of the guys that retire here takes on contracts to continue working at the same place.
But when my father in law retired as a Geologist, they offered him a contract and he refused it. Even for almost double his old salary.
He simply said that he was finished and walked away!
Blessings!

That happens here at times people coming back after they retire, there has even been talk of that but I have no plan for that at all enough is enough

A few years ago I think I would have been missed more when I leave, things have changed a bit in the last few years and I am a small cog in a big machine

Remember that you were never a small cog JJ.
Remove the small winder from a big wristwatch and then the watch is useless.
Don't blame you for not going back, as a new life is waiting for you!
One without deadlines and a very few commitments! No pressure also.
Blessings!
