Last pull day of this week. What a great workout. I was tempted by a post on the X3 Bar Users group to up my resistance on chest press. A commenter suggested that, once we reach 20 reps, we should move up. He commented that few, heavy reps equal’s strength where more lighter reps equals endurance. I almost succumbed but then remembered that this is not the counsel of Dr John Jaquish and he is, after all, the only one on the group who has actually researched this to have the science behind his advice.

(15-25 rep goal)
-Chest Press 36x240 (dk gry) diminishing range of motion to fatigue
-Overhead Press 22x50 (wht) diminishing range of motion to fatigue
-Split squats 33x80 (lt gry) to fatigue diminishing range of motion
-Tricep push down 37x240 (dk gry) diminishing range of motion to fatigue
-Crossovers 0x150 (lt gry) to fatigue Diminishing range of motion

I give my YouTube vlogs the main title of "Fitness Over 60." It is my goal to build a community of like-minded riders whose purpose is to get and stay active and fit into their senior years. At 60, I see myself as just entering those years. I am not as fit as I would like to be, but neither am I trying to become a superstar athlete. I am becoming more fit all the time with:
-Regular cycling,
-Elliptical exercises
-Frequent resistance training (#x3bar) and
-Ketogenic/Intermittent Fast eating
are the main elements of my fitness plan.
