My Actifit Report Card: August 31 2018

Hello All, yesterday I have done more than 6000 steps but forgot to post. Today my activity was morning walk, then walk whole day for tasks and then the late night walk.

Lot's of walking! Walking is an often over looked activity because it is the most basic physical activity that we can do to better our health. It's great because it taps directly into the fat burning energy system. (1 of 3 systems the body uses to power it's self.) Bringing your pace up to a light jog or run is often what people think they should be doing however it can also be tough on the joints offsetting it's cardiovascular benefits...

So yeah @indianteam! If your walking or your running keep those steps coming! Good job! :D

Thanks @wil, yeah I cannot run regularly so that's why always want to walk as much as possible.

That's a good plan! Walking lots (although it takes more time) is extremely good for you! I plan on doing a lot of walking over the next couple weeks as well. I usually like to start a new fitness program with a week or two of walking as it's a good way to clear the space in my schedule and get my head in the game.
