More chanterelle picking and My Actifit Report Card: september 22 2018.

Out in the woods.

Today I have been out in the forest to see if we could find some more chanterelle. And yes we did, 6 hours out and 6 kg mushrooms. In total we have picked over 12 kg. It is a very good year for mushrooms this year. It is not every year it is so much chanterelelle, so it is fun to pick. Now when the leafs had started to fell of it is a litte more difficult to see them hiding between gras, leaf and branches. You see some yellow under some branch from a spruce, lift it up and find 20-30 mushrooms. Very funny :-)
