Many communities put out street pianos. Usually, local artists paint the pianos. They are meant to encourage people to stop and play and others to gather around and enjoy the music.
I have seen a few in NYC but this is the first one I have seen in our little city such a cool idea and great to see ;)
I've noticed that more communities in the Boston area are putting them out once the nice weather arrives.
That's cool when I move to MA Next year I plan to do occasional Visits to Boston and will be looking out for them :)
When you visit Boston, make a trip to the Public Gardens, you can get some beautiful shots.
