Can Someone Explain The Actifit Payouts?

in #actifit5 years ago

Please? Yesterday, i got my second Actifit payout. I thought the first one looked odd but that maybe there was some logic behind it. But the second payout played out the same and so i dug a little deeper.

The Post In Question

So before the payout, the rewards were standing at $1.10 or thereabouts. At payout, it dropped to $0.26. Ok, so that's not too bad and maybe that's the worth of 20 Actifit tokens. So, fair enough. But looking at the actual rewards:

That's almost $0.00. Hmm. I'm sure there's a very good explanation for this but i can't seem to find where it has been documented.

Hi @charcoalbuffet, I just did a little digging on this, and figured it out. All of your Actifit posts are being posted with "full AFIT payout" mode on. This means that Actifit gets 100% beneficiaries on the post payout, and then issues you with AFIT tokens instead. If you leave it on, you won't get STEEM/SP/SBD payouts, but you will get more AFIT.

My personal opinion is that "full AFIT" mode is not worthwhile, but its an individual choice.

Hope this helps.

Ah, thank you very much for clearing that up! I thought the maximize rewards only mattered for the initial upvote and not when we exchange the a-fit tokens for an upvote. Time to uncheck that then.

All good, like I said - personal choice but I prefer the STEEM/SP payout. Plenty of AFIT comes in without that option, and you basically get the 20 AFIT back from the AFIT to Steem option which is fairly pointless.
