Actifit Daily #31: New Charity Enabled, 124 Rewarded Submissions, Top 10 Actifitters, ~70K SP
This daily post represents a compilation of the recent news and updates about our Actifit project, including top actifitters for the preceding day/voting cycle, as well as updates on our account and delegations !
A Dollar A Day Charity Enabled
Today we are happy to also enable a third charity, A dollar a day, into the list of available charities eligible to receive AFIT tokens via actifitters' daily activities.
A dollar a day (@adollaraday) is a charitable giving project based on daily donations of 1 SBD. You can find more details about their recent work during the month of June here.
As of now, @adollaraday, @mannacurrency and @steemminna are all available options that you can access in your app settings. Interested in donating to their cause(s)? you are more than welcome to do so !
By opting in for donation, you will actually be donating your Actifit token rewards, yet your post Steem upvotes will still be rewarded to your own account/post according to the standard Actifit approach, so it's a win-win situation :)
Disclaimer: Please note that donating to any charity is your own personal choice, while we find the causes and the works of charities we add of great value, yet that is your own personal decision.
Top 10 Actifitters
Today we reached another all-time high in terms of number of daily Actifit submissions. Today we rewarded 124 submissions with successful proof of activity, out of which 91 got the max 10,000 movements or more.
Our top scorer with the most activity count for yesterday was @darewealth, with 40540 activity count!
Our second top actifiter was @chesatochi with 33787 activity.

Of course we are always on the lookout for more delegations to be able to better support our project and award actifitters.
Keep in mind that delegators earn daily Actifit tokens with a 1:1 match to their delegated SP, as well as a 5% beneficiary reward from actifit posts. So if you delegate 500 SP, you earn daily 500 Actifit tokens (up to a max total cap of 100,000 Actifit tokens per day).
To delegate, you can use any of the following links below

Hi @actifit! @kpreddy directed me to what you guys are doing and I have to say... I am very impressed!
The concept you have come up with is a sound one. I think you guys might have cracked the, "How do I get paid to exercise?" question! That's pretty exciting!
I'm definitely going to download the app and give things a try! :D
I have a couple questions in the mean time... It's pretty cool that you have come up with the concept of proof of action. I'm just wondering what the actifit tokens will enable people to do? What gives the token it's value and subsequent liquidity? Will the actifit tokens enable higher Steem upvotes on their proof of action posts here on Steemit?

Yes we are excited to have created a proof of activity so that people now would have an incentive to lead a healthier lifestyle.
In terms of your questions:
Our plans for the Acitifit token are as follows:
"Actifit tokens will be available for purchasing fitness related equipment, tools, gadgets, sports wear, gym memberships... and any transactions between providers and actifiters.
As a Steem Smart Media Token, Actifit tokens will have their own valuation per STEEM as well as FIAT currencies, and hence can be cashed out for actual FIAT currency."
As for Steem upvotes, yes and this is already in place, we are daily upvoting using our @actifit account all successful submissions by the community, which have been increasing exponentially, gladly our delegated SP has been growing as well, due to our concept of rewarding delegations with matching Actifit tokens on a daily basis.

Good info. I didn't know abou the plans to purchase fitness equipment with AFIT tokens. Sounds like a great plan.

I am considering delegating some Steem Power. It would be pretty cool to have access to gyms and fitness equipment of my own. I believe that you guys are well on your way to making this happen and I look forward to being a part of the movement!

Nice to see yet another charity added to the list. And great to see more delegations. There is more and more every single day. Soon we will loose the early bird advantage as we crack the 100k barrier but it will continue to be a great deal for a while.
What happens at 100k?
It will not be a 1:1 distribution anymore but percentage based.
Let me be the one to make it 70k :)
