Why should you need to grab a coffe every morning!
Hello World,
Today I will talk about Coffee which is the reason of my sweet amd warm morning.Coffee is a drink which is prepared from roasted coffee beans. Dark in colore, bitter, and slightly acidic, coffee has a stimulating effect on humans, primarily due to its caffeine content. It is the most popular hot drink in the whole world.
Coffee was first invented in Arabia .Coffee was not only enjoyed in homes, but also in the many public coffee houses — called qahveh khaneh — it began to appear in cities across the Near East.
The patrons did not just take a cup of coffee and talk and conversation, they also enjoyed performances, listened to music playing chess, and were up-to-date with news. Coffee houses quickly became an important place to exchange information that they were frequently described as "Schools of the Wise."
European travellers who traveled to Near East brought back stories of a unique dark, black drink. The 17th century was the time when coffee was making its way into Europe and was quickly becoming a popular drink throughout the continent.
A few people responded to the new drink with fear or suspicion saying it was an "bitter invented by Satan." Local clergy slammed coffee when it arrived in Venice in 1615. The debate was so heated that the Pope Clement VIII was asked to intervene. He decided to try the drink for himself prior to making a decision. He found the drink to be so enjoyable that he granted it the papal blessing.
Despite this the coffee houses quickly becoming centers of socializing and communications in the largest towns of England, Austria, France, Germany and Holland. There was a time when in England "penny institutions" began to pop up, so named because for the cost of a penny , one could buy a cup of coffee and engage in lively conversations.
Coffee was able to replace typical breakfast drinks that were popular at the time alcohol and wine. The people who took coffee in place of alcohol would start the day feeling energized and alert in a way, and it was not surprising that the productivity of their work was dramatically enhanced. (We would like to think of this as the precursor to the current office coffee service.)
By the end of the 17th century there were nearly 300 coffee shops in London and many of them attracted patrons who were like-minded, such as merchants brokers, shippers, shippers and artists.
Numerous businesses emerged from these specialty coffee houses. Lloyd's of London, for instance, began in the Edward Lloyd's Coffee House.
Now coffee has a big market place and different types of beans are getting popular day by day.Now a days we can found coffee shops everywhere.
Now we know the magnificant history of coffee.
So,when you are having your next coffee date?
