Hello guy, I'm back here to write on my third achievement which has to do with content etiquette.
Firstly, Etiquette is set of rules that are considered acceptable either in the society or a group of people.
WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
In my own words plagiarism simply means the representation of someone's work or idea as yours without the owner's knowledge. This is not an act of honesty.
TYPES OF PLAGIARISM
The types of plagiarism include the following:
*DIRECT PLAGIARISM: This is when someone adopts all or part of an author's work into a new work without changing a single word.
*MOSAIC PLAGIARISM: This occurs when a writer lift some phrases or part of a write up from a material without using quotation.
*ACCIDENTAL PLAGIARISM: This occurs when a writer misquotes phrases cited from materials and refusing to recognize the source.
I have read and understood plagiarism and I promise to produce only plagiarism free contents in steemit.
In conclusion, whether intended or unintended plagiarism is a crime because a write up should be the writer's words. It is also important to recognize a source from where phrases have been lifted. Assisted by @ngoenyi
