The Office of the Islamic Sharia in Aceh discusses the application of Qisas law to perpetrators of crimes such as murder. This is done to suppress the number of crime that lately happened lately.

Head of Bina Hukum Syariat Islam and Human Rights of the Office of Syariah Islam Aceh, Dr Syukri, said that his side will conduct research first by involving the campus related to the implementation of qisas law in Aceh. In addition, the Office of Shari'a will also see community support and community preparedness if this law is applied.

Lately the murder case is starting to bloom in Aceh. According to Shukri, if sharia law is consistently applied, then criminal cases such as murder will disappear. He exemplifies Saudi Arabia which imposes a very severe and strict punishment for the offender who removes the lives of others.

If the punishment for the killer is applied so heavily, then people will refrain from killing. When people are afraid to kill the lives of others then all human lives will be saved as well as the person or the perpetrator itself, obviously Shukri.

In the Qur'an, Allah has declared that in the law of Qisas there is a guarantee of life for you O people of understanding. What is the guarantee of life, that by enforcing the Shari'a law will be guaranteed the lives of people will not float again. Why? because people are already afraid of killing. When people are afraid to kill the lives of others will survive, his life will also be saved.

Syukri assess the punishment imposed on the perpetrators of murder has been relatively mild. So after leaving the prison, the perpetrator is not impossible to do the same again.

In the execution of this Qisas punishment, the offender will also undergo a process ranging from investigation, investigation to the next. He appealed to all circles not to be allergic when speaking Qisas law.
