Grasshopper is a herbivorous insect. and the locust has two antennas shorter than its body and also has a short ovipositor. so the sound of locusts generated by some locust species is usually produced by rubbing the rear femur against the front wing or the abdomen. The rear femur is generally long and strong which is suitable for jumping.
locusts are generally winged, and although their wings are sometimes unavailable for flight. The female locusts are generally larger than the male mantis.
