53 plaques from various countries in the Thanks to The World Monuments
Ireland plaque with a background Aceh Tsunami Museum
Thanks to The World Monuments located at Blang Padang, Banda Aceh, right in front Aceh Tsunami Museum. The monument was built as a symbol of thanks Aceh to states, volunteers, NGOs, companies, civil and international military who have helped in the development of Aceh after the Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami on December 26, 2004.
There are 53 "Plaque Thanks You And Peace" along jogging track 1 km surrounding Blang Padang field, plaque-shaped ship almost drowned.
53 countries and the world community has helped after the tsunami in Aceh immortalized on the plaque. Country name, country flags, and written 'Thank you and Peace' in the language of each country, as a thank you Aceh to 53 countries and the world community that has helped after the earthquake and tsunami in 2004.
The main building of the monument Thanks to The World is a building constructed of concrete in the form of tsunami waves on the north side of Blang Padang field.
