Tsunami Museum, City Tour A Resounding Object

Banda Aceh (ACEH)-Tsunami Museum is a building ravaged Aceh post was hit by big waves of the tsunami of 26 December 2004.

The Museum was built in memory of the all-powerful events throughout the history of the world that take its toll 240,000 inhabitants.

The building is located on Jalan Sultan Iskandar Muda, Simpang hours or opposite Field Blang Padang city of Banda Aceh. The Museum is supposedly in desaign a Professor of architecture of ITB Bandung, m. Ridwan Kamil.

Desaign titled Rumoh Aceh u.s. Escape Hill takes the basic idea on adobsi rumoh Aceh, namely traditional Acehnese houses that form the House stage.

The construction of this museum has not only become a monument. However, the building also as objects of history, so it's expected to be a place of research and learning about the tsunami disaster as a symbol of the strength of the people of Aceh to deal with the tsunami disaster.

In addition, the building is expected to be a legacy for generations of Aceh in the future as a message that the lessons of the tsunami struck Aceh ever.

The building cost reach 140 billion. The Museum consists of 4 floors with nuanced Islamic decoration
