BASED ON the provisions of Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Spatial No. 6 of 2017 on Procedures for Review of Spatial Planning. Regulation or legislation (for Aceh Qanun) Spatial Plan can be revised every five years. Even if there is a very large landscape changes, such as earthquakes or the expansion of a region.

So the RTRW can be revised even in less than five years. Prior to the revision of the existing RTRW, the first effort that needs to be done is to review the existing RTRW. Still based on the ATR Candy, to conduct a review of the District RTRW.

Then the authority to conduct the Review is at its disposal at the Bupati level. Starting from an Assessment Letter of Review, Assessment of the Establishment of a review team and the determination of recommendation of review result for revision or not to the existing.

The candy mandates the Bupati to make limited rational revisions to the RTRW if the review result changes to the existing RTRW below 20%. But if the rate of change above 20%, then the RTRW will be revised thoroughly.

Qanun RTRW Aceh Utara Number 7 Year 2013 set on 2 September 2013 and enacted as Qanun RTRW Kabupaten Aceh Utara on December 27, 2013 has entered the age of five years, namely; from 2013 to 2018. Of course this condition is very possible for the Government of North Aceh District to conduct a Review of the Qanun RTRW as a first step to the preparation of revising Qanun RTRW No. 7 of 2013.

Another feature that allows the Qanun in the Review (Review) is the dynamics of the development of North Aceh for the past five years. Likewise with the policy of the Regent of North Aceh in 2016 which issued the Intruksi Bupati (inbub) number: 548 / INSTR / 2016 about palm moratorium. Determination as Special Economic Zone (KEK) for some of North Aceh region.

These development dynamics allow the Qanun RTRW of Aceh Utara District to be reviewed as a first step in preparation for the revision.
