Menikmati keindahan air terjun Blang kolam...

Salah satu tempat wisata yang menarik di kota Lhokseumawe adalah Air Terjun Blang Kolam, atau dikenal juga dengan nama Blang Kulam. Air terjun yang terletak di dalam hutan yang masih alami ini, mampu untuk memberikan nuansa alam yang indah, udara yang sejuk dan segar, dan sebuah pesona air yang jatuh dari ketinggian sekitar 75 meter sehingga menciptakan suara gemuruh air yang langka. Hal tersebut tentunya dapat menjadi daya tarik bagi wisatawan untuk berlibur ke tempat wisata ini. Di lokasi wisata ini wisatawan bisa berenang atau bermain air, dan bersantai sembari menikmati panorama alam Air Terjun Blang Kolam yang menawan. Namun, dibutuhkan sedikit perjuangan untuk mencapai tepi air terjun.

Setelah melalui pintu gerbang Air Terjun Blang Kolam, wisatawan akan menuruni sekitar 660 buah anak tangga untuk menuju ke lokasi air terjun. Perjalanan ini cukup melelahkan namun sangat menyenangkan. Selama di perjalanan wisatawan bisa menikmati keindahan pemandangan alam yang hijau, sembari menghirup udara segar yang bebas dari polusi.

Pada saat pulang akan berlaku kebalikannya bukan? Wisatawan harus menaiki anak tangga sejumlah 660 buah tersebut. Wisatawan tidak perlu tergesa-gesa, jika terasa lelah sebaiknya wisatawan beristirahat terlebih dahulu. Posisi Air Terjun Blang Kolam berada di Desa Sido Mulyo, Kecamatan Kuta Makmur. Tempat wisata ini berjarak sekitar 21 km dari kota Lhokseumawe. Selama perjalanan, wisatawan akan ditemani dengan pemandangan dan suasana pedesaan yang nyaman dan sejuk di mata.

Apabila wisatawan berangkat dari kota Banda Aceh, jarak yang harus ditempuh dari kota Banda Aceh menuju ke Lhokseumawe sekitar 275 km, dalam waktu kurang lebih 5 jam.
