But there are so many who complain about the existence of this snail because he is also known to pests that eat young rice stems wereas very few know the important function of this snail for the health it contains.

Come to know it with me as part of knowledge

Nutrient

Snail is different with Conch, in our area snail stores a high nutrient content which according to Positive Deviance Resource Center is 12% protein, 217 mg of calcium, low cholesterol, 81 grams of water in every 100 gra snails. This snail has a shell height of up to 40 mm with a diameter of 15-25 mm and mostly shaped like a green-brown cone, greenish yellow, and even black. In addition, snails contain energy, protein, calcium, carbohydrates, phosphorus, and vitamins that are good for health.

Otherwise with Conch, he don't containt anything than food for duck.

Are you one of person don't like milk? Try consumption of snails as a source of calcium milk substitute.
Milk is one source of calcium, but there are among us who do not like milk and even allergic to milk. Though the body is in need of calcium asupa for bone growth and bone density, as well as maintenance of teeth, nervous system, blood circulation, heart health, even skin.

Well, for those who can not consume milk, can try to consume snails as a substitute for calcium. The conch deviates around 217mg of calcium in 100 grams of snail meat. This is equivalent to a glass of milk.

Protein

You know something, the snail is high of quality but low cost animal protein. Why? because in snail body content animal proteins are commonly obtained from chicken and cow meat. However, as we know, the price of meat is not cheap. Conch contains high animal protein so it can be used as a source of quality protein but can be obtained at a much cheaper price.

As we know proteins are essential for the development of the body, the formation of cells and tissues, improves the body's defense and immunization of the body, promotes the growth of children

For Health

for health snail contains a high enough vitamin with existing vitamins that are vitamin A, E, niacin, and folate. Vitamin A is good for the eyes, vitamin E is good for cell regeneration and skin beauty, niacin plays a role in carbohydrate metabolism to produce energy, and good folate for pregnant women does not become disabled. That why in some area on java this animal always looking by people to eat.

Traditional societies in some areas in Java have long used snails as a remedy to overcome cholesterol & ambient. Meat snails are consumed in various ways such as satay or fried. Consumption on a regular basis was able to reduce ambient disease / hemorrhoids, they said.

In the past who knows this snail also used as an antiseptic by cutting the tip of the shell and then the slime that comes out smeared onto the wound so that the wound will quickly dry and not infected.

Especially in my area, this snail using to duck food, and I try to catch one snail to see closer. Many more functions and benefits of snails I think, I just share some. Please adding in coment.. !

Thank you @johnrenald
