Indeed, eMarketer, which has released its Facebook usage estimates for 2018, believes that Facebbok
will lose about 2.1 million users under the age of 25 in the United States this year. These figures have
something to worry Mark Zuckeberg.
Why do people leave Facebook
Facebook is one of the oldest social networks on the world. People used it a lot because it was the only network that has a lot of features in the past like sharing videos and pictures, online chat ,... but today there is several social networks which have the same functionality; I can say Whatsapp, Snapchat, Instagram. Whatsapp and Instagram were bought by Facebook because theirusers's numbers were rising every day as the users's number of facebook were decreasing; The flight of Instagram and whatsapp threatened Facebook that's why Facebook was obligated to buy them or face them in the future.
Secondly Facebook does not pay content creators* for their workers that they put on Facebook like songs, videos, images, poems,.. instead facebook is paid because of the data provided by us; I'll tell you one thing a lot of the people who are content creators are tied for *"working for nothing"; I think it's because of that people do not want to continue to use facebook or they will just use it to share the links of steemit, DTube or youtube where they get paid. If Facebook wants to win users the must start paying for our data we provide .

hey I seen you like my advertising campaign for steemit on twitter so I thought I would check this out. I agree im using Facebook less often now because they continually block my advertising posts and have done for the last 3 months even though I don't breach their community standards and then they have the cheek to email me and ask me If I want to lay for the same post to be advertised by them and after google have announced they are going to follow Facebook's example and stop advertising crypto currency I think I will be using startpage more often. I hate the idea of my data been collected by these organisations and the amount of control and influence they have.
