Rice nursery seedlings - traditional methods

It was great to this day I can write and share more with you about rice farming. In steemit often I see beautiful photographs and interesting stories activity in the fields. But I've never read that talks about the nursery rice.

The nursery is included important things in cultivation. Some of the factors that affect plant growth lies in the prepared seedbed which types of plants and plant varieties must necessarily be superior and good for planting. Rice seedbed also done in various ways, knowledge, culture and habits usually influence in the process of seeding rice.

On this occasion I want to share with you guys, this way seeding Rice simple and easy. this way can say is still very traditional, but from my experience this method is still very effective to produce seed good.

Provide wanting sowing seeds, you can buy quality seeds are sold in the farm shop or you can also use rice from paddy production itself.

Enter the rice seeds into a sack of rice, then flush with water until uniform.

For storage, you can store them in the yard of the house where not exposed to direct sunlight exposure, it means your place to store seeds must in humid conditions.
I put the seed in the well (traditional wells), then cover them with banana leaves to keep the seedlings so that the temperature is maintained and protect from sun exposure.

Do watering seedlings every night.

To produce sprouts / shoots usually takes 3 days.

After 3 days, we will now open the sacks of rice and to the next process.

Remove the seeds from the sack

Seedlings will clot
Then separate the seeds by squeezing or pulling so that the seed grains does not clot again, how easy and not difficult.

Rice seedlings nursery is not difficult to do and of course there are some new methods of growing and getting better results. What I show in this post is the traditional rice seedbed method that is still used by the people of Aceh, and these are some pictures of rice seedlings.
