Coffee Latte and its presentation
- Latte or Caffè latte (Italian meaning milk coffee) is an espresso or coffee mixed with milk and has a thin layer of foam on top. The ratio of milk to coffee to caffè latte is 2:1.
LATTE
- Latte is often inferred as a milky-tipped coffee. And that assumption could be true, when compared to a cappuccino. The most fundamental key in making a latte is in the process of steaming the milk. Generally, the steaming process of milk serves to two things, namely heating milk until it reaches a certain temperature in accordance with the desired and to produce micro foam. In other words, the foam in the latte usually tends to smooth and not thick.
Latte and his art. Latte can be marked from its thin foam
The composition of the latte can be described as follows:
∙ Double shot espresso (about 60 ml).
∙ Milk steamed, usually almost full cup.
∙ Micro foam is only about 1 cm thick in the top layer.
To indicate whether the drink is a latte, from the first sip we will immediately feel the coffee that feels so milky.
