One of the Dutch Colonial Ethical Policy in Indonesia is Irrigation Development

Today I share some photos Mesim Pump Air for Irrigation Rice planted with rice.

This AIr is pumped from the river, into irrigation, then to the surrounding community rice fields.

The Machine used as many as 4 units a machine, 3 unit an active machine, one already damaged.

Irrigation is an effort made by humans to irrigate agricultural land. In the modern world, there are now many irrigation models that humans can do. In ancient times, if the water supply was abundant because of a place close to a river or a spring, irrigation was done by draining the water to the farm.source

Based on Anonymous (2011) states that the irrigation functions are:

Supplying crop water needs.
Ensure water availability in case of drought.
Lower the temperature of the soil.
Reduces damage due to frost.
Use a hard layer of soil during tillage.source

Small and Svendsen (1995) describe three subsystems in the irrigation system:

(1) The Acquisition Subsystem, which includes physical and institutional elements related to water catchment from its source;
(2) The Distribution Subsystem, which includes elements related to the movement of the water flow from the source to the edge of the plot where the water will be used; and
(3) Application Subsystem, which consists of elements related to the application of water to the soil.source

The Netherlands is very meritorious in the Ethical Policy in supporting agricultural land in Indonesia during the Colonial period.

The Netherlands Has created a powerful irrigation system and has proven to increase the needs and development of agriculture.

The Pump will suck the water in the river with a paralon pipe then the water has been sucked will be directly streamed into the reservoir and then in the reservoir will flow to every irrigation that has been made in such a way.source
