Harvest in July and August

In some countries, figs can be harvested at the end of July and August, then dried so that they can be stored throughout the year. After sufficient drying, we can eat it throughout the year without fear of rotting the fruit. Consuming figs is a healthy and beneficial work for the health of our loved ones. Try to eat it and feel the benefits and virtues of the fig.

Do you know the usability and the figs?

Fruit fiber in figs can be useful to reduce the rate of postmenopausal breast cancer in women. The fruit also contains lots of calcium to help develop and protect strong bones. So it is very good to be consumed by children to strengthen their bones and parents to keep bones from avoiding porosity.

What should you pay attention to when you want to choose the land and location for Tin fruit cultivation

The fig tree is very fond of hot and dry climates. Then try to choose a location that suits the wishes of the plant.

The fig tree needs full sun all day. but do not like strong winds, because this can disturb the fragile roots. So you have to choose the position of the tin tree to be planted protected from strong winds.

Then the fig likes and is happy in alkaline soil, so try to make sure the soil is rich in compost and slightly sour. Then the root of the fig tree is very well liked by ants and insects. Try to see if the roots are eaten by ants or not! flush with a little water and regularly to avoid making ants near the roots of the fig. Don't let that happen so that it will become the cultivation barrier that you are doing !.

How to pick figs from the tree

Hold the stem of the tin tree firmly and rotate it gently by pulling it to release the fruit from the stem of the tree. After picking, ripe figs can be stored in the refrigerator for several days for you to eat, but do not wash them unless you want to eat them.

The way to harvest the fig is when the fruit is almost ripe, then stored at room temperature that is not hot, unless you want to eat it quickly. Don't let too much fruit ripen on the tree, because it will be eaten by animals and even bee bees are eager to taste the sweetness of the juice that comes out of the butt of the fig-shaped like the eye.

How to cultivate figs with cuttings

Actually, it is very easy to do Fig cultivation, it can be with the seeds, can be cut and can also be grafted. You just choose which one is easier and you want to do it. I prefer by grafting a tin tree on a stem over figs that are young/green and without crushing. Then wrap with clay or compost soil with ordinary plastic.

Then water every day with a little water and keep it from drying out, not too moist. After the roots come out for a month, then you can cut the branches and move them into a polybag or pot that you have provided. Do not move it directly to the ground, because it is vulnerable to extreme weather and heat.
