Swamp forest is a forest that grows and develops in a place that is always stagnant freshwater or seasonally inundated freshwater forest. Periodically areas situated near the river flow when the rainy season is inundated swamp forest will be formed. Additionally swamp forests are also usually found in brackish or mangrove forest behind.
