Advair Diskus (flutikason propionat + salmeterol) adalah kombinasi obat inhalasi yang digunakan untuk mengobati asma dan bronkitis kronis. Pada pasien dengan asma, saluran napas (bronkiolus) melalui udara yang bergerak masuk dan keluar dari paru-paru dapat dipersempit dengan akumulasi lendir, kejang otot-otot yang mengelilingi saluran udara ini, atau pembengkakan pada lapisan saluran udara akibat peradangan. penyempitan jalan nafas menyebabkan gejala sesak napas, batuk mengi, dan kemacetan. Obat yang dipakai dalam mengobati asma termasuk yang saluran udara terbuka, bronkodilator disebut, dan yang mengurangi peradangan.
