istiqamah the mentor of islam religion

From Sofyan bin Abdullah Ats-Tsaqofi said, actually a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me about Islam a word that I will not ask any more than to you," the Messenger of Allah said: "Say! I believe in Allah then Istiqamah. "(In addition) I said:" O Messenger of Allah, what should I guard? "So the Prophet hinted to his own tongue and said:" This "(Muslim in his suhih).

According to the above mentioned hadith Muslims, we can understand that after the Faith to Allah is Istiqamah as a couple and at the same condition that can not be negotiable. Istiqamah becomes a very important attitude and a device that can not be separated in realizing the Faith and Akhlaqul Kariimah.

Istiqamah according to the language means: straight, straight and not twisted. Umar bin Khathab explains that: The Istiqamah keeps following the orders and (away) the prohibitions and does not deviate from them. "Abu Bakr added that what is meant by the word" Istiqamu "is (after faith) not associating Allah with anything.

According to the ma'rifat expert Istiqamah is, the first Faith to Allah and two follow the teachings of the Prophet both born and inner. Allah says: "And remain (Istiqamah) as commanded to you and do not follow their lusts." (Surat ash-Shura: 15).

With the above understanding then Istiqamah should be the character and personality of the believers. Like what is the motto and lifeline of believers that, life is devotion, struggle and sacrifice. Without faith and firm stance (Istiqama) it is impossible to maintain its existence as a believer. Chances are if he succeeds in his career, but his faltering stance and faded personality, may be faith and his religion was mortgaged.
