What is a CREDITOR???

When a business operates, it will make use of suppliers to obtain trading inventory to sell to consumers. When the business purchases goods on credit, the supplier is owed. The supplier is called a CREDITOR of the business. A creditor is classified as a liability account as per the accounting definitions. Creditors arise when the business purchases goods on credit.....
