Acapulco Adventures: Ghetto Bus Loyal
Despite Government acabus being in the city over a year I still opt for the colorful bus you see in the photo, which I lovingly call a ghetto bus. Currently 8 pesos to ride and they generally go pretty fast with loud music.
For 9.5 pesos you get a nicer air conditioned but still private bus. Acabus requires cards and bus stops and from what I can tell is too inconvenient for me, especially when ghetto busses are so fun.
Okay so that's the best part of the ghetto busses is they run on routes they have written on the windshield, you get on where you need by flagging them down and get off by telling the driver and they stop, wherever it's safe to.
How do you know where you are going without bus stops?
Se ve muy divertido que hasta yo me montaría en ellos. Me gustan las cosas divertidas y fuera de lo uniforme :D
Saludos.
