Is Acapulco Safe ? We spent the day asking locals around the city.
Many recent articles in western media have claimed that Acapulco Mexico is a one of the most dangerous cities in the world, and that western tourist should stop coming here unless it was necessity.
Me and Activist/Journalist @JohnnyHurley from @WeArechange-Co travel through the city of Acapulco and find out for certain Is Acapulco Safe ?? What do you think ?

This was a great question to propose to locals. Very well done, this was fun to watch. I want to share this with other people.
Personally I've been here nearly a month, with zero safety concerns or issues... & believe it or not it's possible for traffic to flow smoothly without a traffic light :D I've heard there are very few accidents here, so it doesn't seem dangerous in that regard either. Not sure where the propaganda in the media is coming from on this, so I appreciate you touching on this topic...loved the video.
THANK YOU for bringing more light to the b.s. in the media about Acapulco being the 4th most dangerous city in the world. I can think of a few in the U.S. alone that are WAY more dangerous. Let's see, Detroit, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Miami, St. Louis. I could go on, but I will just say this:
Since I have been here, this is what I have experienced:
I have heard and seen lots of fireworks but NOT ONE SINGLE GUNSHOT.
All the locals are super friendly and willing to help you.
The sunsets are amazing, and so are the beaches and everything else (including the most amazing Anachy conference in the world @anachapulco)
Not to mention how much cheaper everything is here, except gas, which isn't a problem if you take a Colectivo for 15 pesos per person.
FANTASTIC tourist destination that is VERY safe. Just don't be an idiot, anywhere you go.
Looks like a fun traveling destination :D
Did he just said venezuela at 0:53, hope he knows he is in Mexico.
