WHAT IS THE STEEMIT PENALTY FOR RELIGIOUS HATE ACT?
The one and only reason to use my downvote/flagging since joining Steemit in March!
I like to think of myself as a pacifist, and i try as much as possible to pursue peace before unleashing my demons- Yes! I am once a very aggressive stout personality and i do not forgive easily, so when i see some unspeakable injustice; i go nuts!
Since March, i have no real cause to downvote nor flag, i see spammers as jobless individuals so i pay no attention to them. But yesterday, i got to know about a newbie who stopped posting because she was flagged for using the Muslim Hijab!
The Stupidest thing @doodlebear did
The screenshot is the evidence of what a user @doddlebear did to a newbie, just because he doesn't like a dress code. Having a meeting with the @steem-lagos members @lucashunter and @cwen yesterday, we were looking at ways to keep people active on Steemit and not leave. Then a name came up, @muslimahblogger; a Nigerian newbie who was flagged by the accused mentioned above in her post:

She was downvoted by Mr.Doodlebear for no reasonable cause! Mr. Doodle apparently have no clue what abuse means and the insult on a community. You all will be shocked that Mr.Doodle is still a newbie too and imagine what this Happy Finger Flagger could do once he becomes a Dolphin or Whale!
@muslimahblogger is a newbie and she is one of the victims that was scared away by some myopic thinking individuals who takes Steemit as their Mama's Kitchen Table. If we can't retain our newbies based on some stupidity going on in the community, then how are we going to grow?
If this abuse of power means something to you, i urge you to give @doodlebear a piece of his idiotic pie to swallow!

This is so so unfair 😠 ... Getting flagged on one's introduction which should be welcome post from old steemians ... Now that newbie will get discouraged and might discourage others from being interested in steemit ... Well the needful should be done to such a case of injustice ... Thanks @oluwoleolaide for bringing this up
If steemit really wanna reach out to world, then such act of hatred and discrimination should not be tolerated ...

Jumping right to retribution is not a good way to correct people's behavior. It is good that you have brought this to attention, it was a shitty comment and action on the part of that user. There's an appropriate way to respond to bad behavior, for example starting with privately warning and discouraging it. Skipping straight to heated and angry punishment doesn't encourage a healthy community any more than his actions did.
It turns out that he had been picking on several people, and he had been using so many abusive languages without been checked.
He took all the ladies reward and i think the only way to get to him is to take some of his- then he started using his foul words again and again.
For what he did, the individual had not used Steemit since then- People like him will dismantle a community
This is very bad! It should be looked into urgently. We cannot just push people away when we need more people in this wonderful community.
This community has good reputation and an action like that should be looked into and dealt with greatly to serve as deterrent for others because the continuity of this great community depend on how we see ourselves as one.

This is just too absurb to be true...some people are out there trying to bring more to steem while some are there chasing them away...
I think this is not just his first attempt because I heard he had done same to another person...which happened to be an African...from this you can see he is out here to deal with Africans.
I believe if he can do this while he is still a resfish, then I do not want to imagine what he will do when he becomes a whale...
I am pleading that we all in African community should rise against this sort of injustice because if he is not stopped now he will cause more pain in some other newbies even others a****.

Her username is @muslimahblogger she is one of the newbies I was encouraging on steemit and she told me why she stopped. It was quite sad.
We can encourage her, she is really one of a kind. I hope you can get her back.
This kind of behavior is bad and should be condemned. I cant believe he did that to a lady. Ego got him.
A newbie for that matter, and she left ever since then...
