My dad yelled at my mom during my first 19 years since 1985 in Oregon. Verbal abuse is a scar that stabs us deeply but there are remedies to such turmoil and such pain.

Children arent animals and should be treat with the same respect as you would a stanger. Same with a girlfriend, or wife, or family member.

It's up to each of us to break that old pattern if we were/are a subject of it. It is a form of extreme bullying and pain for many generations. Speak softly and let the message come through with love.
