My response is to flag spam that drains the rewards pool. It's a stupid bot that upvotes itself for doing quite literally nothing.

I will promote a post if I disagree with it, as have done with this one.
It gives the general community a chance to comment and see what is happening within Steemit.
The wider viewer ship brings to light the kind of people we have here.
