The Smoking Wood

A while ago in Cuba it was common to cook with charcoal or wood, and despite the drawbacks that brings, I personally like it a bit because I'm a fan of fire, so while I cook I sometimes find myself mesmerized watching it. While admiring the fire that day, I noticed something (smoke or vapor) coming out of one of the sticks, which probably had a very thin hollow inside and it was being forced out. The photos didn't turn out very well — I had to set the ISO to the maximum — but I'm still glad I captured this little phenomenon.
