Abosom Monthly Update #3 June 2020

June has been a nice month for Abosom, the network is healthy and strong and our DIP003 masternodes are showing no signs of fatigue.

We have decided to add a TLDR for these monthly updates as perhaps some people may be pressed for time and not read the entire document, there is a lot to get through but here's the main points

• We had over 10 tenders for the budget website all being considered
• We created the first video intro for Abosom to increase the power of our brand.
• We created the first of many 'Abosom explainers' will be added to our website soon
• We have identified an explainers list and are looking for writers to contribute succinct content
• We have started negotiations with Merge for a Seeder and Snapshot service
• The Abosom store os coming soon to Store.abosom.org release date set for August 11th 2020
• our first DEX integration is now so close we can smell it! We have passed BlockDX compatibility checks.

Budget website

While we are very pleased with the calibre and amount of offers we had from some very competent teams to build out the budget website as per the specs shared recently. However we seem to have vastly underestimated the costs of such a site and have decided to fund the budget website AFTER we have at least 3 exchange listings, our main targets being Mergedex, Crex24 and BlockDX at this point. We wil instead opt for a simple 'ASSETS owned' microsite which will highlight and link 'via independent explorer' to the blockchains and addresses of ABOSOM owned assets.

Intro video

We created a very professional intro video which will precede all of our tutorials and other video content, this was created with the help of up and coming vlogger Sebski#22. We are excited to showcase this intro and the first Abosom tutorial on our site and Bittube during the next month.

First of many explainers

Abosom has spoken for the first time ever, in the first ever explainer she explains the network and invites people to join our discord, we are planning to upload all of our explainers to decentralised censorship resistant platform Bittube in the coming month and have them embedded on our website. Keep your eyes peeled for them.

Explainers list

We have put together a list of topics that we will be covering in Explainers by Abosom herself. They will cover topics such as, Why Proof of stake, the buy back burn model, Asset ownership, Masternode governance and a few others for more information and to help out by contributing concise content please join our Discord

Negotiations with MERGEProject

We have entered into negotiations with MERGEproject to have them host Seeders and a snapshot service for us for the coming year, we are over joyed by how they managed and built our explorer and we are hoping to become closer with this useful and helpful project. we will be acquiring 48,000 Merge to use as collateral for these services and we will add them to our ASSETS page when we have acquired them and sent them to the merge team.

Store.abosom.org

The Abosom official store is on its way and it will be selling ABOSOM branded merchandise and electronics, it will be our first buy back burn contributing project away from asset ownership and we are looking forward to seeing how this develops, expect to see an official press release from us in the coming weeks along with mock ups of the first products that will be sold on the store. BlockDX integration

We are Super close to our first Exchange integration and fitting with our philosophy we have decided to go with BlockDX, we have passed their compatibility checks and now just need our super skilled developer to do the neccesary things to add us to the decentralised exchange! This is a HUGE deal as it may pave the way for buying ABS in wallet with NO intermediaries! we are hoping to have this finalised and announced within the next month. Huge thanks to community member AbosomAdvocate for helping with this and also to '86b' from Blocknet who was very helpful in conducting the compatibility tests.
