[CtW] AAR Isnochys Plays HoI4 (Rt56): Germany #2

Change of plans!
An episode full of it.

I was looking around, if Soviets are a valuable target ( they are not, way to many divisions so far)

And forgot my ongoing Spain campaign.
Seriously, I forgot about that front for some minutes.
So, when I focused on it, Spanish Nationalists are in deep trouble.

Aha, Belgium will not enter an alliance wit France.
Interesting

With 3 tank divisions I punched through Barcelona and cleared northern Spain halfway by myself.
You are welcome!

Winning back Madrid, we got this news, Austria wants to join our empire.
The more the merrier.

Also Albania likes us, well, not that really, just as allies..we will see..

And we helped to win the Spanish civil war for the Nationalists.

But we did not get Sudetenland.
This is now a second time in a row for me.

Whiloe I had this cunning plan for the soviets (full frontal attack)
Italy betrayed us.
They founded their own faction.
Change of plans!
We attack Italy!

Their only ally is Hungary.
This is a weak friend for them.

And France made its biggest mistake.
Not joining the Allies.
(Or better leaving the allies and founding their own faction)
Target after Victory over Italy will be them.

Civil war in Japan.
In the non historical version of this games, this happens now a lot.

And Soviet declars war to..some nation far East.

This is our genious strategy.
Full front attack in the Alps!

Far East is a conundrum of weird states and wars..

War has been declared to Italy.
Hungary stepped by their side.

After 2 weeks of fighting, the situation looks grim for Italy.
So many losses on their side.

As victorious nation, we took the Italian peninsula, without Rome, communist state now, and the islands.
The African Territories I will get later.

But next time it is time for war with France.
Nothing should stop us there.
Yugoslavia is their only ally.
Easy target.

We are on a good track.
The allies will not be a challenge for us.
Only the Soviet remains, that needs to be challenged with iron fist.
USA is a target for way later, once we have a hold on the American continent
My plans are sound and save!
