Oh wow, you really turned this one around! Last time i checked in you where almost quitting because it was hard to invade Italy! Glad you kept going!
Yes, soviets saved me.
They put pressure on Germany from the east.
So they had to relieve some troops from other fronts.
Which did lead to Italy going over the breaking point. 0 manpower left. And I just went on grinding their troops.
The worst part are the long supply chains from America.
That takes some while.
And Spain, well, a bit of luck was involved there, too. In hindsight, I should have taken Gibraltar directly with the invasion. Quicker relieve for my troops.
And now.. Soviet? :))

Okay, after seeing this, I have to load up Hearts of Iron 4. I think the last one I played was number 2, and this just looks really pretty! I hope the mechanics are just as good!
It depends. It is more action based. Less grand strategy.

Hmmm, that is a change, maybe I'll take a look, but I'm more keen to start Crusader Kings 2.

Cool, any tips for any mods? I already got one for a more readable UI.
Playing currently without mods.
There are some fun ones like Kaiserreich.
And for the ui enhancement I didn't look deep enough into the game yet. There is one colourblind mod, that is helpful, as paradox games tend to use weird colours, in my eye:)
